Empowering sustainability education
Our flagship assessment tool TASK™ allows you to measure both sustainability knowledge and the effectiveness of your teaching strategy. The following resources are designed to help prepare candidates about to take TASK™. They also help promote positive change within your institution.

TASK™ Resource Hub
This hub is where you will find relevant resources on sustainability. Its aim is to facilitate the deployment of TASK™ at your institution and, by extension, our shared mission to mainstream sustainability literacy. Resources include: Intro2TASK™, Navigational Charts, and Study Guides.

New feature: TASK™ Study Guides
TASK™ Study Guides help educators meet their students where they are by transforming assessment scores into individualized learning opportunities. They complement other learning activities by helping students build foundational knowledge in subject areas with weaker scores, and deepen understanding in subjects where they perform well.
After completing TASK™, candidates gain access to an individualized selection of Study Guides, each containing:
- a description of the subject and why it matters,
- key learning objectives and topics to explore, and
- curated, high-quality resources for self-paced learning & improvement.

A learning journey with TASK™
If you’re wondering how TASK™ fits into your program, here are some recommendations based on the practices of our community of Change Leaders who have demonstrated impact by successfully integrating TASK™ into their programs.
1
TASK™ pre-assessment
Establish your baseline of knowledge: “what do my students already know and what do they still need to learn?”

2
Sustainability education
Use the Navigational Charts and additional resources to design better curricular content around sustainability.
Share with students Intro2TASK and encourage them to review TASK™ Study Guides.
3
TASK™ post-assessment
Assess your students a second time, compare their pre and post results, and demonstrate impact via a higher score!

Awareness-
raising tools for sustainability
For over 10 years, we have been designing tools to raise awareness about sustainability. These online tools can be used independently to increase learning and awareness of global issues, or to help candidates get better prepared to take TASK™.
