Featuring our Change Leaders on the global stage: highlights from key 2025 events

2025 has been an exciting year for Sulitest and our community of Change Leaders, as we connected with higher education institutions, partners, and educators across the globe to advance sustainability literacy. From workshops and webinars to international conferences, here’s a recap of the key moments where TASK™and our mission to mainstream sustainability education were at the forefront.
THE Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC)
Sulitest was proud to actively participate in the THE GSDC 2025 in Istanbul, collaborating closely with the HESI Student Action Group. In a three-hour workshop, we explored practical ways to integrate sustainability competencies into curricula, equipping future leaders with the skills to address global challenges.
We were also delighted to work with Hong Kong Baptist University, sharing insights on creating learning environments where students not only acquire knowledge but also grow, connect, and flourish. The event highlighted how TASK™ and complementary frameworks help institutions embed sustainability in education, assess outcomes, and cultivate responsible leadership among students.
United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF)
At the UN HLPF 2025, Sulitest once again contributed through a side event, titled “Teaching the Change: Inclusive, Evidence-Based Learning for the SDGs”. The session gathered educators, faculty, and student networks to discuss how higher education can empower students to critically engage with eco-anxiety, misinformation, and global sustainability challenges.
Panelists from IESEG, EXCELIA, and The EduHK shared how they implement inclusive, transformative pedagogy. Alongside TASK™ insights, the discussions emphasized the importance of grounding education in science, fostering global citizenship, and designing curricula that genuinely prepare students to lead sustainable change.

AABS Connect Conference – Curriculum for Change
Sulitest had the privilege of moderating a panel at the AABS Connect Conference, focusing on advancing sustainability in African business education. The session featured The American University in Cairo (AUC) and ESSEC Africa, sharing concrete strategies to integrate sustainability into curricula, measure learning outcomes, and inspire institutional culture.
Panelists highlighted how TASK™ supports assessment and accreditation, linking sustainability knowledge with employability, real-world impact, and faculty engagement. Discussions emphasized co-curricular initiatives, alumni involvement, and the creation of faculty communities of practice, offering a blueprint for transforming curricula and embedding sustainability into the institutional DNA. Key insights are available on our blog here.
EFMD Deans Conference
We had the privilege of attending the EFMD 2025 Deans Conference in Lisbon. Sustainability was central to the discussions, with a strong emphasis on moving from good intentions to actionable and measurable impact. Steven Braekeveldt challenged institutions to rethink their KPIs, while sessions with Leila Triki, Susan Christoffersen, and Martin Boehm explored the role of business schools in shaping responsible leaders and the importance of addressing environmental, social, and policy-related challenges. A discussion on rankings, led by Ines Drieselmann, Leila Guerra, and Andrew Jack, highlighted the need for indicators aligned with the future we aim to build — an evolution that TASK™ actively supports.

EQUAL Webinar
In the EQUAL & EFMD webinar, Jean-Christophe Carteron discussed the complementarity of accreditations, labels, and frameworks for sustainability, emphasizing the importance of assessing learning outcomes.
We highlighted Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM), where Julie Perrin-Halot shared how TASK™ is integrated into initiatives like the “Sustainability Olympics”, linking assessment and competencies to the school’s broader sustainability strategy.
AASHE Webinar
Sulitest joined AASHE to explore concrete strategies to integrate sustainability into higher education curricula, including how TASK™ can engage faculty and students and how it aligns with sustainability performance frameworks such as STARS.
We showcased two of our Change Leaders: HEC Montréal and the University of Sussex Business School, sharing how they embed TASK™ across their programs. From introductory modules for first-year students to advanced courses, TASK™ serves as a strategic lever to foster sustainability knowledge, involve faculty in curriculum development, and use insights to continuously improve educational practices.
AACSB International Conference
At the AACSB International Conference in Vienna, Sulitest reconnected with many TASK™ Change Leaders, including KEDGE Business School, CPBS, GEM, EM Normandie, and NEOMA. Discussions focused on the need for transformative change in higher education and the importance of critical thinking in addressing misinformation and societal challenges, with TASK™ playing a central role in driving measurable impact.

PRME UK & Ireland Webinar
In a PRME UK & Ireland Webinar, we explored how Sulitest’s tools can support embedding sustainability into teaching and learning. We were delighted to feature Alison Bailey from the University of Sussex Business School, who shared how TASK™ is integrated into her institution’s programs, engaging students and faculty alike. The session highlighted the value of sharing experiences and fostering dialogue to advance sustainability literacy in higher education.
Universities for Sustainable Tourism Roundtable – Angers
Sulitest participated in a UTD roundtable in Angers, exploring how education can drive sustainability in tourism. Pierre Schulz highlighted TASK™ as a tool supporting institutions like ESTHUA to structure sustainability education and measure learning outcomes. Panelists discussed student engagement, co-creation with social actors, and strategies for developing a responsible tourism sector.

THE World 100 Reputation Network
Sulitest was proud to participate in THE World 100 by Times Higher Education, co-hosted by KEDGE Business School and IAE Paris – Sorbonne Business School. Our co-founders shared insights on Sulitest’s incubation at KEDGE and highlighted the importance of assessing sustainability knowledge to drive meaningful change in higher education.
It was a great opportunity to reconnect with institutions already using TASK™, including KEDGE Business School, INSEAD, KAUST, University of Exeter, and The University of Manchester.

QS Sustainability Rankings
We celebrated our Change Leaders University of Sussex, Paris-Saclay University, PSL, and University of Manchesterfor being ranked among the Top 100 in the QS Sustainability Rankings. TASK™ helps institutions assess students’ sustainability knowledge and evidence their impact, supporting measurable progress in sustainability education.
The QS Sustainability Rankings explicitly value this type of assessment by asking institutions whether and how they measure students’ sustainability knowledge as part of their evaluation framework.
A global community
2025 has reinforced that collaboration, measurement, and engagement are essential drivers to mainstream sustainability literacy worldwide. We are grateful to our Change Leaders, partners, and students for their dedication, and we look forward to continuing to accelerate change in higher education.
